Being a mom is tough. But you don’t have to do it alone. MOSIAC Moms is a robust collaboration among Memorial Behavioral Health, Springfield Public Schools, Family Service Center and Community Child Care Connection to address the mental health and well-being of women and children to support moms with limited access to social support.
MOSAIC Moms offers services to help meet the social and emotional needs of mothers and children in Springfield, who are experiencing stressful times. Services include facilitated parent/child groups, delivery of home-based mental health services and consultation to home visitors and case managers who work with the target populations.
Building on the success of last year’s MOSAIC Mom’s pilot program, the Women for Women Giving Circle of the Community Foundation for Land of Lincoln awarded a second year of funding with new support from the Communityworks Fund. A total of $60,000 was provided through the Foundation to support the expansion of MOSAIC Moms.

Each week a group of moms facing similar challenges meets to share tips, information and support. The group is led by Brandi Paluska, professional counselor, and more importantly, a mom just like you. The group meets from 10 a.m. to noon each Tuesday at M.E.R.C.Y. Communities.
