Mental Health First Aid

Register for Mental Health First Aid Training

Mental Heath First Aid is an interactive, 8-hour certification course that presents an overview of mental illness and substance use disorders in the U.S., introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems, builds understanding of their impact and overviews common treatments.  

Those who take the 8-hour course to certify as Mental Health First Aiders learn a 5-step action plan encompassing the skills, resources and knowledge to help an individual in crisis connect with appropriate professional, peer, social, and self-help care. 

Up to 8 CEUs are available for individuals completing a Mental Health First Aid training. The following professionals are eligible for CEUs:

  • Social workers
  • Counselors
  • RNs
  • Physical therapists
  • Physical therapists assistants
  • Speech therapists
  • Dieticians
  • Occupational therapists
  • Occupational therapists assistants
  • Respiratory therapists

PLEASE NOTE THAT NOT EVERY LICENSURE RESULTS IN 8 CEUS. If you register to attend, but are unable to and send someone else in your place, please let us know so we are able to allocate CEUs correctly. If have questions about your eligibility, email MBHTraining@mhsil.com.

Adult Training fee: $16.95
Youth Training fee: $18.95

Fees provide the training manuals and are nonrefundable. Credit card payments only. If your credit card cannot be processed, you will be expected to pay on site the day of the training.
