Memorial Behavioral Health provides two distinct residential programs in Springfield; Crisis Residential and Supported Housing.
The Crisis Residential program is a short-term program available to adults experiencing an acute mental health crisis. This program offers a safe environment for crisis stabilization and linkage with resources.
Our Supported Housing program works with individuals with mental health symptoms that have impacted their ability to live independently. The goal of this program is to work with client to improve their independent living skills to eventually return back to the community.
Both programs offer a variety of services including:
- Crisis assessment
- Comprehensive assessment
- Individual treatment planning
- Crisis intervention
- Community support services
- Individual counseling/therapy
- Group counseling/therapy
- Case management
- Psychiatric/medical services provided by SIU Center for Family Medicine
- Medication training
- Family support
- Follow-up services
